What is Gluten?
Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat (wheatberries, durum, emmer, semolina, spelt, farina, farro, graham, KAMUT® khorasan wheat and einkorn), rye, barley and triticale – a cross between wheat and rye. Gluten helps foods maintain their shape, acting as a glue that holds food together. Gluten can be found in many types of foods, even ones that would not be expected.

OUR STORY
Over twenty years ago our lives changed with a diagnosis of food allergies to gluten, dairy and eggs. The diagnosis of the food allergies was a good thing, but what to eat became the challenge. Sherry and Jordan (J-Bro) had to become experts at discovering and perfecting gluten free recipes.
Today, unlike twenty years ago, there are so many wonderful foods available. The Gluten Free Market was founded by Janell Farnsworth 10 years ago, and in 2018 Janell’s Gluten Free Market became J-Bro’s Gluten Free Market. We are excited to continue her legacy.
